The Gospel Chariot arrived Akwa Ibom Sate on June 1st and Started to work with us in evangelism immediately. I participated with some N.C.B.C students on the first weekend of their evangelism which was at Idoro Obio Uyo where one baptism was recorded, from thereafter, they went to Ibiaku Itam, Itu where Samuel Okon, the H.O.D of NCBC is preaching and one soul was also baptized. In Abak June 12-14, all the NCBC students/Staffs took active part and one soul was also baptized. While at Ibiono Ibom congregations 20 souls were baptized. During my chat with the Gospel Chariot Staff last weekend, they reported that thirty three (33) souls have been baptized so far in AKS. They have concluded their activities in Akwa Ibom State on July 3 and will depart to Lagos.
The College also sponsored twelve students to work with the Church of Christ Okobo for five days evangelism on June 15-20, 2018. They worked with a newly established congregation and baptized fourteen souls.
Uyai Sunday Joshua continues with his services at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpabio Afaha Obong and reports of one baptism recently.
On 23rd June, all the Management staff attended the funeral service of Late. Dr. Andrew Akpan Isip at Ikot Akpan Essien Oruk Anam, we presented a Condolence letter and a purse of N 50,0000.00 ($158) to the bereaved family.
The College will send out forty-five students on Internship Programme to many congregations within and outside the State for three weks this month of July, they will engage in Church planting and nurturing. They are expected to come back with good reports before July 29.
