WNCC July 2018 Report
EVANGELISM
The Nigeria Chariot Evangelist, Samuel Ndukwe Iheke, WNCC’s Diploma and Advance Diploma graduate reports:
Ikeja Corporative Evangelism started on July 07 and ended on July 25, 2018. The Gospel Chariot was hosted by the congregations located in the following places: Ifako Ijaye, Iyana Ipaja, Aparadija (Ogun State), Ojodu, Onilekere and finally at Shasha. Our greatest challenge was space to pitch and preach as a result of the cosmopolitan nature of Lagos to the glory of God. At last, four souls were added into the Body of Christ.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
We are grateful to God almighty as both students and staff of the college come together to carry out community service through farming. We all went out to the farm together as we uproot and pill the cassava planted by students and staff, for processing to make cassava flakes. It was processed and finally made as cassava flakes (also known as Garri). We thank everyone for this act and for embracing this kind of culture. To God be the glory
FARMING
We are grateful to God as our farm continue to yield more growth. The corns are growing and through community service, we made effort to carry out weeding on the farm, through the application of anti-weed chemicals. To God be the glory
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
The vocational training came to an end last week as at 27th of July 2018. The students were allowed for an interval of four days to review what they were taught and prepare themselves for examination. We praise God for this development and for the success of the examination administered to the students
VENTURES:
The birds are doing fine and the laying of eggs is consistent. Though we had some casualty of about three to dehydration as a result of faulty nipples attached to the pipe supplying water to the birds. The final sorting of the fish was completed three weeks ago and the first batch of smoked fish took place last week Wednesday. We give praise to God for this development and for the community service spirit.
Did you know that they are collecting 240 eggs a day from this project??
