Samuel Iheke Ndukwe was born November 24, 1981 at Alayi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State. He had his primary and secondary education at Ezialayi Community Primary School (1988-1994) and Alayi Secondary Commercial School (1994-2000).
He was baptized into Christ on June 26, 2002 in Cotonou, Benin Republic and immediately became passionate about the Truth. Like Samuel, his biblical namesake, his mother had purposed in her heart that if she ever had a son, he would be dedicated to the Lord’s service. After his secondary school education, he was sent to Cotonou to learn a trade under the tutelage of a relation. In Cotonou, he showed unprecedented enthusiasm for things of the Lord which prompted the preacher of the local church (Samson Ekwe) who was a graduate of West Nigeria Christian College, to encourage him to be trained at WNCC. He got his Diploma in Biblical Studies in 2010 and his Advance Diploma in Christian Ministry in 2011.
His love for lost souls and church planting led him to establish a congregation immediately after graduation in April, 2011 at Abomey Calavi in Benin Republic. He nurtured the congregation till December 2012 and left it with more than 30 members when he was invited by the English-speaking congregation in Cotonou to serve as their preacher from December 2012 till June 2017. During this period the church grew from about 100 to over 150 members. Samuel was married on September 20, 2015 and the marriage is blessed with a baby girl in September, 2018.
While in Benin Republic, he was well acquainted with the operations of the Benin Gospel Chariot. In January, 2018, he was appointed as the Chariot Evangelist and the head of the crew of the Nigeria Gospel Chariot. The chariot has traversed nooks and crannies of Southern Nigeria with the saving gospel of Christ. The Nigerian chariot was inaugurated in Abakaliki, Nigeria in February, 2018 and has since conducted gospel campaigns in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Abia, Imo, Delta, Kogi, Edo, Ogun and Lagos States including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Over eighty souls were led to Christ and seven new congregations planted. Samuel Iheke Ndukwe represents what the Lord has been using WNCC to do for His kingdom in Nigeria, Benin Republic and beyond.
