N.C.B.C WEEKEND EVANGELISM REPORT 6-8 OCTOBER, 2017
We are grateful to you brother Chad Wagner for sending funds in order to resurrect the N.C.BC Ukpom weekend evangelism.
On Friday October 6, 2017, the management, staff and students assembled in the chapel for prayers and fasting service asking God for His grace and directions for the student’s weekend evangelism and other requests.
By 2pm, 35 students who were approved to take part in the evangelism lined up in front of the Public Relations Office to collect their transport monies to their congregations of assignment. The college driver also dropped some students at nearby congregations. Thirty five students visited twenty congregations in Etinan, Nsit Ibom and Uyo Local Government Areas. They were warmly received by congregations. On Friday night, they conducted evening prayers. From the reports submitted, they conducted 120 personal calls, three open air services, 20 Sunday worship services. Their efforts resulted in three baptisms and five restorations in the following places:
- Theophilus Inyang, N.C.BC M2 student baptized Eunice Sunday Akpan at Ikot Oku, October 8, 2017
- Owoedinyene Udo Abasi M3, student baptized one soul at Idiong Etor, October 8, 2017
- Emmanuel Okon Udoh M3 student baptized one soul at Ikot Nsat Nsit, October 8, 2017.
The five restorations took place at church of Christ Ikot Osong Etinan. On Saturday 7th October 2017 five lecturers from N.C.BC Goodness E. Peters, Uyai Joshua, Etim Nyong, Anameti Akpan and Samuel Okon went out to the various congregations to supervise students on evangelism.
We noticed that congregations cooperated with our students as you can see the preacher at Obiokpok Nsit taking our students on his bike for personal Evangelism. All the congregation visited gave transport monies to our students back with letters of Appreciation to college. These activities have strengthened N.C.BC relationship with congregations that students worked with.
I am requesting that weekend evangelism should be done monthly by the college through your generous support. By next month, we have proposed to visit congregations in Ikono Local Government Area.
Thanks a lot for your support
God bless you richly
Uyai Joshua
