REPORT ON ALUMNI AND GRADUATES OF THE COLLEGE
We are eternally grateful to God for having a great citadel of learning like West Nigeria Christian College and School of Biblical Studies. We thank God and thank all sponsors for playing a vital role and for being instrumental to the spiritual academic growth of these young ones throughout the duration of their learning. Statistics show that most of the graduates of the College from inception have been doing well and we are proud of them. Some are in the field preaching as pulpit ministers, evangelists and church leaders while some are in secular organization serving in one capacity or the other like in the banking industry, lecturer with Lagos State University, Medical Doctor and Nurses at both federal and state health institutions, Barristers, Chartered Accountants, just to mention but a few. Some are retained as instructors with the college, such as Bola Fayemi, captured with the national service uniform. She studied Mathematics/Statistics at Osun State College of Technology. We believe and pray to God for them to continue to shine as light in the midst of darkness and salt in the world of bitterness.
FARMING
The college is warming up to get to planting by putting its land into use. The school invited the tractor to plow about three acres of our land in other to prepare the ground for planting. The school is working hard to plant items like corn (maize), vegetable, and cassava. We give God the praise and we hope for bountiful harvest.
FIRST YEAR STUDENTS OUTREACH
Twenty-three students were sent out for internship for a period of two weeks in different states across the nation. The students were charged to remain a true ambassador of the college by displaying positive attitude which was inculcated into them. One of the highlights of the practicum exercise was the addition of souls into the kingdom as represented in the picture attached with this report. We give glory to God and thank our students for their fruitful exercise.
CENTRAL STORE CONSTRUCTION
WNCC, in line with her vision and mandate to be affiliated with the University of Ibadan, embarked on the construction of which a central store with compartments for tracts, furniture, mattresses, used books, stationeries, archival and other materials The school started this project in May 2018 and as at the time of filing this report, the building is at the roofing stage. We praise God for this giant stride, thank the ACSF and the president of the college for a job well done.
VENTURES
The new batch of catfish as reported in April 2018, are doing great and so far we are able to sort them twice. Presently the fishes are stable and in good condition and also growing at a fast rate. We also have the poultry birds doing wonderfully well as they continue to lay eggs. Sale of eggs is really progressing. We give praise to God.
LAWANSON
We are grateful to God for the lawanson center, an extension of West Nigeria Christian College and School of Biblical Studies. The program at Lawanson is ongoing and the students are adapting and working hard on each of the courses offered per semester. Presently they are rounding up their second semester for the session. I (Emmanuel Adeoye) was there three days ago to round up my class with them on BIB 243 THE PROPHET. A picture of the class is attached with the report. To God be the glory!
