NCBC EVANGELISM REPORT MAY 4TH – 22TH 2018

On 4th and 5th May, the “Gospel for All Race Foundation” requested that the College should send some students to assist them in two days evangelism at Ikot Abasi.  We responded to the appeal and sent forty NCBC Students.  They came by 10am on 4th May and conveyed our students in a long bus.  The Gospel for all Race Foundation was formed by Professor Nkereuwem Udoaka for evangelism purposes.  The forty students from NCBC worked at Okon, Ikot Abasi in collaboration with members of the Gospel for all Race which numbered more than 100 Christians to convert twenty nine people on 4th and 5th May, 2018.  They conducted house to house evangelism and open air services.
 
On 13th May, the College released five students to work with Church of Christ, 18 Ebom Abak.  Uyai Joshua joined them to preach at open air in the Abak motor park and one soul was converted.
 
Two students also visited church of Christ, Ikot Akpabio Afaha obong, 11th to 13th May.  They visited the village head, Chief Joshua Akpan who is a member of the church of Christ, the chief asked the students to pray for him so that he may be elected as the next Paramount Ruler of Abak after the demise of the former one, the students prayed for him and he entertained them and gave them transportation monies.
 
Sunday Nelson, a ministerial two students worked with Uyo City Church of Christ on 11th May, he mobilized twenty youths from that congregation to preach house to house in Uyo municipality, distributing tracts and enrolling many into W.B.S. program.  On 20th May, Sunday Nelson preached at Church of Christ Itiam Ikot Ebia and one soul was baptized.  He had one-day youth forum at Ikot Ekan, Etinan on 19th May where 370 youths were in attendances.  World Bible School Team, Etinan was also inaugurated by Monday Akpakpan on that day for Etinan centre.
 
Anameti Akpan took two students and evangelized Nto Ide, Obot Akara on 27th April 2018 and two souls were baptized.
 
Sunday Titus Okon, a final year student of NCBC is already serving as a minister at Church of Christ, Ikot Obong, Ikot Abasi, a fast growing congregation, in that congregation; he has a medical doctor, Dr. Inemesit Ekanem, who has operated many NCBC students who had appendicitis and hyena at moderate prices.  Sunday Titus preached on 20th May and had two baptisms.
 
On June 1st to 3rd, 2018 35 students will be working with the church of Christ, Ibiaku Itam, where Samuel Okon,  Director of Ministerial Programme is preaching.
